It says a lot about a business how they handle when things go wrong and Kim’s was incredibly disappointing. We had previously had good experiences there. About a week and a half ago my fiancée and I brought in a dress and pants to be altered. Kim’s son worked with my fiancée to let the pants down, even specifically stating we would like them slightly longer than usual. Kim then came over to pin my dress, I wanted the slit extended slightly.
We picked up the items and the pants appeared to not have been let down at all. In the area of the dress where the slit was extended the material was frayed and there was a hole (this is a brand new dress). My fiancée brought the items back and spoke with Kim’s son who recognized the problems, accepted fault, apologized and agreed to have the items fixed.
Well today I went in to pick up the pieces and Kim immediately tried to argue with me and tell me that she did all the original measurements and that neither my fiancée nor I ever spoke to her son. She also said that we originally asked for the pants to be taken up rather than let down.
I attempted to explain to her what happened and she became more argumentative and said that they have cameras (which I wish she would have checked). She was so unnecessarily unprofessional. When we tried on the pants and they are TWO DIFFERENT LENGTHS!!! Pants ruined with no time to fix or replace them. they also did absolutely nothing to correct the dress which is still frayed with a hole in it, so my brand new dress is ruined.
My clothes were returned to me thrown on a hanger.
Definitely do NOT recommend!!

I couldn't be happier with the service received at Kim's Custom Cleaners. A week ago I brought in a large load of heavy custom-made draperies. Four were for double-wide patio doors. The curtains were very dirty and stained. They gave me a very reasonable price and said they'd be ready in a week. I picked them up today. The curtains look like new! They said they ran them twice to get them clean. The big curtains were so big, they had to run one per load. I got them home and rehung them. They are beautiful!

Also, because people seem to use the loading zone spot in front of the shop to sit and text, I had to park in the Hager's lot. They helped me carry the giant load to my car.

I’ve been a loyal customer. They always do a great job with my clothes and give great service. Kim and her son Simon are awesome.

I paid 36 dollars to have 2 dress shirt collars reversed. one they said "it was the best we could do" ata quick glance,I saw nothing really done, but it was a well-worn collar; so itis what it is. the second shirt they said it came out "fine". in a hurry, I took them at their word only to find upon close scrutiny at home, it was not reversed at all. it was the same as when I brought it in. so $36 for absolutely nothing. I brought it to them because I had some tailoring done once before there (let out a sport coat as much as possible) & that was fine. I had always gone to Harry's on Chestnut St., but, he retired so I tried this place. I will NEVER  bring them anymore business, nor will I recommend them to anyone. I leave this as a warning... do not have any tailoring, save very rudimentary simple work, done at this place. I hope they enjoy that 36 bux. I personally rate the work & the cost at minus 3 stars. in this economy a hard lesson learned.

They have been doing my cleaning, pressing and hemming for more than 20 years, including pick up and delivery, and have never made a mistake. Their pressing is especially perfect. Best cleaners ever.

Home delivery driver is very rude. I do not enjoy interacting with him. Today when he missed us I called him and he didn't care a bit and said too bad he would just catch us next week because we are "on the other side of town" and "too far" to come back over to make it right. I explained that this was very important to get the cleaning back asap and he said he couldn't help. I asked if he had been in our neighborhood and he said yes he had but had forgotten our house. If I am going to pay a premium price I want to interact with nice people that remember their routes.

They did a very great job fixing the zipper on my coat and dry cleaning it and at a great price.

After many years of great service we are now no longer going to use this establishment for our dry cleaning, sewing needs. Dropped off expensive uniform shirts with very specific instructions on how patches were to be placed. First they were placed wrong (opposite of where they were PINNED to the shirt to show where they belonged), next they were just hap hazardly placed in no consistancy what so ever, and the final time STILL NOT PLACED PROPERLY. Now the shirts have obvious Mark's from having the patches removed 3 times and the owner won't replace the shirts and wanted us to wait even longer to "have them fixed". NOT TODAY. Initially refused to refund my money saying my standards were incorrect and there were no marks on the outside of the shirt - flat out argued with me and told me it was all in my head. Once shown the marks on the shirt OUTSIDE sleeve finally refunded 95% of my money. STAY AWAY. Can't even press uniform pants properly only dry cleaned and sent home like a pair of jeans not professional uniform pants. Will be posting pictures of damage to shirts that he tried to deny.

On job site now.   The drivers just drove over all our high pressure hoses that were set up.   Over 600 dollars of hoses that we would have moved if asked.  These hoses can't  be run over.   They hit the quick connect coupler and broke it.  Very inconsiderate.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this service. This is the second time I’ve trusted them with my blazers, hoping the first incident was just a coincidence. They failed to clean my white blazer properly, and the wine stains remained. It looked like they washed it with dark clothes because it no longer looks white, and the fabric doesn’t feel the same either. I also brought another blazer to them and asked them to remove the stains from inside the cuff, but they were unable to do so. It seems like they didn’t do anything at all. This will be the last time I use their services.

I dropped off 4 items and was told that I could pick them up 2 weeks later. After 2 weeks I went to pick them up, but only 3 items were finished. I took them home and I am still waiting for the fourth item.

I brought in three blazers on a Thursday. They said they would be ready Monday. I didn't go to pick them up until the following Monday so a week after they should have been done. They could only find two of my three blazers. They said they couldn't find my "raincoat" but I told them it was a blazer. They had not called to say they couldn't find it. They claimed the two blazers that they didn't lose were "light jackets" because they didn't have shoulder pads. Rather than argue 80's fashion vis 2024, I paid outerwear prices for those two blazers just to get them home (only a dollar or so higher than blazers cost). They said they would call me when they found my raincoat. I reminded them it is not a raincoat and if they are looking for a raincoat they will never find my blazer. I called them a few days later and they said they found it but didn't call me because they lost my number. They described a raincoat. I gave them my phone number which should have also been in their system, and reminded them it was a blazer. No hood no belt, not a raincoat. They said they would keep looking and call me. Few days later I stop in with a photo of the blazer. They say they didn't call because they once again lost my phone number. And they still can't find my raincoat. I remind them they should not be looking for a raincoat. They finally found my blazer about 6 weeks after they lost it.

If you value your time, you should NOT use this establishment. I decided to use this dry cleaner to preserve my wedding dress based on several friends suggestions. I should have read the reviews first though, because the service and quality of customer care was horrid. I dropped my dress off the beginning of November and  was told it would be done 11/29 and I would be called. The manager herself checked me in. I didn’t hear from anyone so by mid December I decided to call. Upon calling, I was told I had the wrong establishment because they didn’t have any indication I had dropped my dress off and my name wasn’t in the system. It took about 2 weeks to find my dress, which the manager had misplaced and lost the tags for. During this process, I was told I would need to bring in pictures and the make/size of the dress in order for it to be found. Fortunately they found it-she had mixed up my first and last name. I finally came in right before Christmas to pick up my dress and it was not even preserved yet. I was being charged for alterations, cleaning and preservation when the preservation hadn’t even been done. I was told it would be finished that day. I came back the next week and it still wasn’t done. I immediately called the following day and requested to speak to the manager to finish preserving  my dress and possibly receive a discount since the entire fiasco was becoming a bit ridiculous. I was told she was ‘out’ and she would call me later in the day. I did not receive a call so I went into the establishment again the following day and the dress was still not preserved. The manager was there and extremely short and rude when I inquired why my dress was still not preserved. She provided serval unprofessional excuses and did not even apologize for the lack of attention or service I received. I did get a small discount, but certainly not enough of a discount to make me feel as though my business was of value. I highly do NOT recommend using this dry cleaner location for any services. I wasted about 8 weeks trying to have my wedding gown preserved. I was appalled at the lack of concern for customer service and the incompetence that was displayed during my interactions with the business.

I've been using Yorgey's for a while now. There are some things to like, and others that could be improved on.

One is the length of time it takes to get clothes back. This definitely isn't a place for overnight service. On the other hand the people here are nice, and things are generally ready on time.

I'd recommend anyone looking for a quality dry cleaners.

If I could leave 0 I would.

Upon walking in the lady working the counter immediately told told me that there were 2 other locations that were open later hours and on weekends; I was there at 3pm on a Wednesday so I don’t know why that was relevant.

She then asked what I needed. I wanted a shirt hemmed to which she told me it was going to take 2 weeks— no worries I’m in no rush. She then told me that in order to do it I would need to take it to an other location even though they clearly do alterations in house. She then asked if I was married and suggested my wife pinned it for me?

The worker clearly just didn’t want to do her job and it was extremely frustrating.

Not sure what the bad reviews are about the woman who works in the front. Just dropped off for the first time ever at any dry cleaning service. She was very helpful, answered my questions, and notified me of closer locations to my house and with longer hours. I still decided to drop off at this location anyway and did not have a bad experience. I would recommend this place to other people. The lady was just a straight shooter on what to expect and I LOVE that.

I love the service, execution, the clothes and the “lady at the front counter”. She’s direct to the point, remember my name and my family. Provides recommendations.  I keep coming back because of her.

The front  lady is always very rude, the first time I dropped off my items she was rude I figured I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and continue my service. When my item was ready to pick up it was the same lady with frizzy dirty blonde hair was at the counter. She was unpleasant from the moment I walked in. Now that my clothing is done I will not be returning for any services there. Maybe you would have more service if she wasn’t at the front desk maybe keep her in the back to complete the services instead. Unfortunate.

The front staff lady was super nice and helpful. They do amazing work. Yorgeys got my white down feather blanket looking brand new again for and OUTSTANDING PRICE. The services they provide won’t break the bank! I highly recommend
