I hate to leave a bad review but I am really disappointed in how my wedding dress has turned out. It took much longer than I was initially told, and I have pretty much got the dress back in the exact state I dropped it off, except it now smells musty. It was just a quick clean as the dress is an ex sample, but the dress still has tan and makeup on the inside from being tried on and the armpits still have a smell to them. So disappointed and now very stressed trying to find somewhere else to clean my dress ahead of my alterations. It doesn’t look like it has been cleaned at all.

My wedding dress had been dragged down the royal mile after a winter day and the bottom 2 inches were completely black - lal managed to clean my dress to absolute perfection and it looks like I just picked it up from the shop. They over washed a brand new Duvet set.
It was that washed and or/ bleached out that it had to be binned.
Using this service has cost me a new duvet set at £35.
I can account for human error but my problem was that I was never told by them that this had happened and the set was carefully packed and hidden in the middle of my laundry so I wouldn't notice till I was back home and after they had been paid.
They even had the audacity to make small talk with me while I paid them kmowing very well that they had destroyed my bedding

I had been a loyal customer for four years even going so far as to make special trips in the past year when I moved a bit further away as I had been happy with the dry cleaning. Called about having some drapers from a new house cleaned and was told to go ahead and bring them in. They said they could clean them and get the dirt and marks off the bottoms. Collected them folded and wrapped in plastic with a £50 charge (worth it if they had been cleaned). Once the weather got colder a few weeks later, I went to hang them and found they were damaged, over a foot shorter and still covered in marks. When I phoned to discuss the owner refused to address the issue, would not refund the supposed “cleaning charge”. I won’t be back ever again and would strongly recommend avoiding for any more valuable items. They can handle the standard shirt but are clearly incapable of anything else. A 20 degree wash is not cold and an owner who lacks pride in their work and won’t take responsibility for their mistakes is a person not worth giving your business to.

Manny and his son (I think) are always busy and always helpful. They do a great job and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. As a customer, I’ve learned to take their times when my suits will be ready to pick up with a pinch of salt, but I’m sure if you have a clear deadline and make it explicit, they’ll make it happen. Dropped a suit off and was charged extra to get some blood out of the sleeve. Didn’t mention that this was an issue when picking up the suit until I noticed and went back. At which point they tell me they didn't have the chemical to get blood out even though they've had the suit for 5 days.

Owner was rushing me when I was I was taking my time to put the clothes in the drier nicely to make sure they don't come out creased. Saying something along the lines 'just throw them all in' 'trust me I've been doing it for 30 years' and 'if it was busy here people wouldn't be waiting for you but it's not busy at the moment so it's fine'

The thing is, there's always a couple of machines out of order but the owner chooses to rush a customer to make things quicker

I came 3 weekends in a row spending spending £15-20 on laundry each visit so I think I should be at least entitled to taking a few minutes to do things the way I want to but I guess I'll just go elsewhere

They ruined an expensive pair of curtains by melting the blackout lining and refused to take any responsibility or to give a refund.
When I showed them the damage they told me they knew it would happen when the curtains were cleaned, but did it anyway. When I looked more closely, there were actually tiny holes in the curtains which the light shines through.
Granted they are a bit cheaper than other places like Timpsons etc, but honestly not worth it, go somewhere that won't ruin your curtains!

Fantastic very pleased with this laundry service. I like taking my bed washing round and drying it off at the laundry. I wash it at home and go round and dry it at the laundrette. I pay £2 for using the machine and then I will put £1.70 in the dryer and the bedding will be complete and dried up.

They shrunk my jacket in the cleaning process and the manager denied it had shrunk because he couldn't pull handfuls of lining out at the cuff. I tried the jacket on to demonstrate that the sleeves were now about 3 inches above my wrist and I could barely fasten the jacket ( this had been a loose boxy style jacket that I had previously been able to wear a chunky cable knit jumper under). I had an absolutely terrible experience with this dry cleaning business. I brought in a set of clothes, including some delicate items, and when I picked them up, they were ruined. The worst part? They claimed that ink from one of the items bled onto my other clothes, but instead of taking responsibility, they said it was *my* fault. No apology, no offer of compensation—just a pathetic, "Sorry, not our fault." It's incredibly frustrating to be treated this way when you're the one who ends up with ruined clothes. Stay far away from this place unless you want your clothes destroyed and your money wasted.

Great service. My washing machine’s faulty and I got bed linen and towels service dried and folded for £10 ready to collect in less than 2 hours on a Saturday which is great value and service I think. Very helpful advice too, regarding what could be wrong with my washing machine!

Lost all my clothes. Gave them to someone else. I handed in 2 weeks of laundry and they tried to give me back two old tracksuit bottoms and a couple of towels. That was 2 weeks ago. The owner seems quite relaxed about it. I've handed in a claim for compensation, but he's gone on holiday for a week.
