The man who owns the shop cleaned multiple pink splotches of lip gloss out of my light gray moose knuckle coat. I wish I took before pictures because it looked absolutely insane and I thought it was the end. Luckily it wasn’t. My coat looks great if you’re looking for a top notch cleaners this is the spot.

They did a great job with my wool coat that needed cleaning and repairs. It came back looking brand new- you can't even tell where the repairs were done. No chemical smell at all, and the price was very resonable.

What an absolutely disgusting staff. I came in at 7:00 in the morning to make sure my suit was ready the same day. The guy seemed nice, but as soon as I specified what time I want ready for, he blew up on me saying that I banged my hand on the counter the wrong way. He kept on screaming at me and then showed me how in some areas they would pull a gun at me, as he showed the motion of pulling out a gun. That is not how you treat customers, and I'm absolutely disgusted. I'm only 18 years old, can you treated me like an absolute trash can.

I sent my Canada goose outwear and my husband’s Moncler outwear there, they did really awesome job!! Both of the outwears look like brand new ones. I highly recommend this store to my friends, really helped me to save more to buy a new one. Especially my Canada goose, it is a light color and it was really duty on the sleeves, it was cleaned very well and looked like a new outwear!!!! I am very appreciated their professional job!!

I had some items that needed stitching, so I brought them here. But one of my jackets— which I had barely worn — ripped again right at the spot they had sewn after just one wash. I also asked them to sew on a uniform patch, but they did such a sloppy job that after wearing it once and taking the Velcro patch on and off a few times, more than half of it came off. They’re friendly, but their workmanship is a bit questionable.

I took my $200 pants in to fix a tiny hole, but they made it look worse. Basically, they assumed that I would be okay with them taking a sewing machine to my suit trousers, as seen in the pictures, as opposed to hand sewing.

However, although my pants are scarred, I'm revising my review slightly upwards because they've been very responsive to my complaint and it's very clear they're good people who are working hard to make a living, and that this was a very unfortunate instance of miscommunication. After my complaint, they also showed me a sample they created where they will show future customers what kind of stitching they want for their clothes, so that they can avoid situations like this in the future.

Left my wife’s dress looking as new as the day she first said “Yes!” Definitely treated courteously and great care was taken when handling the dress. Awesome dry cleaner would entrust them with expensive attire any day.

Truly one of the best tailors I have ever used! My dress had a very intricate and specific structure and needed about a foot of material taken in from it. I purchased the dress in a medium when I really needed an extra small. The tailor did a phenomenal job while keeping the integrity and original design of the dress. And on top of that, she had it done in less than 24 hours. I will never go to another tailor/dry cleaner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Mary Field Cleaners

I had been using the same cleaners for over 15 years.  The original Korean lady June was the best.  They have since changed hands (maybe twice?).  Prices had gone up over the years and that's underatandable.  Usually, service is friendly and pretty quick turnaround with consistent quality.  Recently the quality has declined.

The most recent visit was very disappointing.  I had a new black suit jacket I wanted cleaned before I wore it.  Took it in for cleaning.  It was a black jacket with hidden snap buttons.  I picked it up today and I wished I inspected it closer when I was at the shop (I rarely did because I trusted them).

There was like press marks right across the waist where the jacket now has a heat press mark sheen right across the front (like you can see the outline of the snap button, thr inner pocket lines and brand tag outline from the outside as if someone pressed it too long on too high heat directly!!

This basically ruined the jacket as that is right at the front of the jacket.  For suit jacket this is a pretty basic thing I would think a professional cleaner would know how to handle properly.

I had a very disappointing experience at this place. I brought in my wedding gown to be shortened, expecting professional-level work for such an important garment. Unfortunately, the alterations were poorly done — the finish was not clean, and the overall quality of the work did not meet my expectations at all.
What made it worse was that I was charged $250 for a service that clearly did not reflect that price. While this place might be fine for simple alterations, I would not recommend trusting them with something as delicate and significant as a wedding dress.

I recently moved to Forest Hills and stumbled upon Maryfield Cleaners while looking for a tailor to hem a pair of pants I received as a gift from my significant other. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the tailor’s knowledge and professionalism. I quickly established trust, knowing my pants were in good hands.

As shown in the pictures here, the tailor did a fantastic job with the hemming. The attention to detail and craftsmanship were evident, leaving me extremely satisfied with the results. Similar to others’ recent posts, I am disappointed the prior owner has moved on, since she was friendly and enjoyable to work with. The current owners seem to be bothered when you walk in. I was hoping to tailor pants, as I’ve done numerous times under prior ownership. The owner rushed me through the fitting, and ultimately I just didn’t feel comfortable they’d do a good job so I decide to leave.

The staff here is extremely friendly and the turnaround is great. The dry cleaning is always fine, however the tailoring services are priced very high in my opinion. I once paid $30 to have a pair of $30 jeans hemmed. Last week, I tried on a dress for a wedding here and asked the tailor to fix the cups- I was charged $30 and she did not do what I asked. When I brought it back to explain that she did not complete the alterations I paid for, I was told I would be charged to fix it. I ended up not being charged, but only because I said I could just go somewhere else. I asked her to please undo what she did and complete the tailoring that I had originally asked for and paid for.

Today, I went back to go pick up the dress and she did not undo her original alterations. I need the dress for a wedding that is in 2 days, so there is nothing they or I can do at this point. I would not recommend this place for tailoring or alterations.
