Take it away and don't come back with the wee bag flicking the V's telling me to F off! Unbelievable behaviour because they were challenged on ripping me off. I managed to get syrup on my UGG boots without knowing how it happened on a Saturday afternoon in Ayr. I live in Sanquar so phoned other dry cleaners in Ayr and Kilmarnock and Cumnock and everyone said they wouldn't touch UGGs. They said they couldn't use chemical's because they would melt. This lady said she could maybe steam them then suck the residue off with a machine. I went along really hopeful because although the syrup had dried in I knew if I tampered with them it would just smear all over them because I could feel the stickiness. When I went in she wasn't sure whether she could do it then went away and steamed them.
They're as good as new. This lady is the super UGG boot cleaner I couldn't have been more delighted. We both agreed we didn't like UGG boots at first because of the label but I was given them as a present and now love the boots. That was someone taking the initiative and going out on a limb and rescuing my boots. I'm not sure they would have been wearable again if she hadn't. I would recommend Kwik Clean to anyone 100% happy.

I contacted Sylvia’s on Facebook late one night after my washing machine broke mid-wash. They responded really fast and understood the trouble of having no washing machine with a child! I brought 2 baskets of washing in, with no expectations of timescales but the girls blew me away with their speedy, friendly service!! The price was reasonable considering the amount of washing and how quickly they managed to get it all done. The clothes were all folded and placed neatly into plastic bags. If I could give them more than 5* I would. A wonderful, friendly, happy family run company - not many of these left in the world sadly. Put a mattress topper into shop yesterday morning about 11.00 which was delivered to my doorstep at 9.30 this morning five miles away. Price was £1 more including delivery as I previously paid to different laundry,

Extremely poor service. Requested to have my jacket sleeves taken up by 3 inches, didn’t alter material just turned up sleeves and poorly sewed them to the inner material. Stitching came away on the second wear (!) see picture. Returned item and was refused a refund and offered to ‘double stitch’ ? Surely should have been done properly the first time. Just took my jacket elsewhere and the owner of the second alterations shop said the jacket was taken up 2.5 inches on one side and 3 on the other (so was uneven - I didn’t measure it but assumed it would be correct!). I would avoid this establishment for any alterations, very poor service. Paid £17 and was refused refund so I had to pay £20 somewhere else to have job done properly.

My wife will Definitely not use them again… very poor work… she wanted the hem taken up on her dress it was an absolute mess, they didn’t even overlock it, she was told they don’t overlock… who cuts a hem and not overlock 🥹 they tried to iron out the mess and instead they ironed out all the pleats, they tried to fixed it but some of the stitching hole runs up the dress where they took stitching out 🤬 and the woman had the cheek to say “ if you are not happy, go somewhere else” what kind of service is that… one ruined dress .. stick to pressing leave the repairs to someone that knows what they are doing

Similar to other reviews posted on here, the male front desk adviser falls short on his customer service skills and thinks it's acceptable to fabricate the truth in order to get themselves out of a situation that they created. I would have been accepting of someone who holds their hands up and says they've made a mistake.
What makes my experience worse is that I was overcharged for my garment and it's only marginally cleaner than when it went into the shop.
