He cleaned the dress wonderfully! It’s practically a different dress! We brought the dress to him because there were some oil stains on it, the tags said to not dry clean or wash. The dry cleaning is wonderful and affordable.  However, alterations can improve some.  In many cases the items aren't finished when requested.  This is taking time and mileage on my part.

I have been at this place many times. They have been good until recently when I was in real need of dry cleaning. Their hours of operation on Google is inconsistent. It says open until 7pm but I came to their location at 6:01pm and they are closed. I checked their hours of operation at their door and it also said 7pm. 😳 What is happening to these dry cleaning place in the Orange Park FL area?

Do not bring anything here! They will ruin your clothes! I dropped off a Beautiful white dress for my mother to go to a funeral. It was off white and stained and couldn’t be worn anymore when she picked it up.

This review is for alterations at this dry cleaners. Do not take anything important there ever for alterations.  They absolutely destroyed my mother of the groom dress.  It was unwearable. Dry cleaning is fine but alterations, NEVER. You should go to a professional seamstress.

Dropped a suit and dress shirt needing dry clean. Was supposed to pick it up by Saturday at 5pm. I totally forgot bout it.  Scheduled to fly out early Monday morning for a sales meeting.  I called the cleaners after hours to my surprise phone was answered.   Told her the situation.  She told me she would meet me Sunday morning to get my suit. This is more than first class service.  She really cares about her customers.   Now she has a loyal customer for the future and I will tell everyone I know.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I read all of the fantastic reviews, brought my beautiful, white curtains in and they came out worse than I brought them to Andrew's. I took some uniform items here.  The owner is very friendly and accommodating.  The service is very quick as well.  It was a next day service but he was very meticulous with my items.  He showed me how to take off some buttons that were on the dress coat so they wouldn’t be damaged.  I’m not an avid dry cleaner so he taught me a bit as well.  The only reason I would say 4 stars is because one of my shirts were still stained.  For all I know it is a stain that can’t be removed.  I would have just liked a heads up that it was still stained.  I didn’t notice it until I got home.  But the other items were great so I would still highly recommend this place.

A woman named Jessica, who claimed to be a co-owner, was incredibly rude and dishonest. I went to pick up two orders, and another employee confirmed that both were ready. However, Jessica insisted that I only had one order. She even lied and claimed that I had already picked up the first order when I handed her the second.

To be sure, I checked at home, and there was no record of me picking up or paying for the first order. When I returned to the store, Jessica kept making excuses, blaming another employee for entering the wrong number. When I asked to speak to the owner, she refused, claiming that she was the co-owner and couldn’t provide any contact information.

Not once did she apologize. Instead, when I got upset and raised my voice, she threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave.

This wasn’t my first issue with Jessica. Previously, when I complained about a button falling off due to their mistake and poor ironing, she was just as dismissive—never once apologizing.

For a local business, their treatment of customers is shocking and unacceptable. If you care about honest service and respect, take your business elsewhere!

Sign on drive thru window said $1.99 per dry clean collar shirt. Drop dropped off 9 shirts. After doing so, lady at window said price went up to $2.25. I said I understand that. Yet the sign says $1.99 and you have honor that price since it would be illegal bait and switch if not. She said she will talk to the owner about it. She said I could pick up Tuesday. I did not hear back with them telling me they wouldn't honor the $1.99. Came in yesterday to pick up the shirts. Got and invoice & said $2.25. Told her she should have called me before moving forward. She said come and get your shirts the owner

I see this place has changed hands over the past couple of years. The current owners are doing it right. I come here regularly to have my lab jackets clean and pressed and starched as well as other dry cleaning.  I’m always greeted with a smile.  They always have my clothes on time, looking nice.  For Halloween I purchased a used Tinker Bell outfit from my daughter that ended up getting ruined in the wash. I brought it here to get repaired. They quickly had it re-sewn looking amazing again for only five dollars.   I particularly like working with Mowafaq.  He’s so sweet. He reminds me of my grandpa.   I will continue giving them my business as long as he is there.

I dropped off $65 worth of dry cleaning, including my military uniform, with a clear pickup date and time. When I arrived as scheduled, I was first told it would be an hour late, then informed it wouldn't be available until the next day — no explanation, no apology. The staff, particularly the front desk employee (whose name began with “D”), was rude and dismissive. I was then told I could go pick it up myself from the plant where they outsource the cleaning — a 25-minute drive each way. I ended up spending an hour driving to retrieve my own order, and when I asked the owner for a reasonable price adjustment for the inconvenience, he refused, stating he couldn’t give it to me "for free" — even though I never asked for that. He eventually offered a $15 credit for my next visit but made no apology and showed no concern for the inconvenience caused. I paid the full price, received poor service, and was treated with indifference. There was a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, or basic customer courtesy. I would not trust this business again — especially if your items are time-sensitive or important.

Excellence in business!  Consistency is key and this place is on point.  It's just dry-cleaning until your business clothes get jacked up by a cleaner.  These guys are amazing and the price is good too.  Never had a problem with the service or quality and I have been a customer for 5 years now.  I highly recommend these cleaners. This establishment does not even rate a 1 star. My son's FFA jacket was dropped off to be cleaned after his steer showing at the Clay County Fair. The jacket was picked up in a plastic covering but not checked to see how it looked. It was brought home and hung in the closet.  Today, my son had a function with the FFA and had to wear his jacket. He pulled it out of the plastic cover and immediately called me. I took one look at it and could not believe the poor quality of the service from chimney lakes dry cleaners. It appears that they possibly ran a brush across it and were done. All the same spots still had the dry dirt in between the groves of the jacket. Just poor quality cleaners are what they are. Then, when you go there to inform them, the individuals working can not give a refund. The owner has to do it. And as you can guess, he was not there. As you can see from the photos, their quality of cleaning is sub-par.  The jacket still smelt like livestock. I can guarantee you'd get better cleaning using a rock in a stream. Update two days later, the owner has been called three separate times with messages left each time and no replies. EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY both in customer care and workmanship...

EDIT in response to their statement below: They had every opportunity to make this situation right but didn’t. I received a phone call when I left the jacket for a second cleaning (at their suggestion) telling me it was a “manufacturer’s defect” that the color bled. To then be told it’s J Crew’s fault because they put white on navy. They have absolutely no intention of correcting their mistake. If they did, they would have offered to pay for the damages and refund my charge. They did neither. I regret taking this jacket here but regret more I didn’t look at all the one star reviews before dropping my item off. Do not use this cleaner.

Absolutely horrific experience. Dropped off a new $300 navy/white J Crew blazer that I wore only once to have a spot removed. When I picked it up the navy color had bled all over the white. They kept the jacket for a redo. When I picked it up the second time, there was no change. I was then informed that it’s J Crew’s fault for putting white trim on a navy jacket because the navy can bleed on white making it non dry cleanable (what???). If that’s the case, why was the garment accepted?  A customer should never pick up an item from a dry cleaner in worse condition than it was dropped off in without any sort of recompense. I wasn’t even offered a refund of the $10 they charged me to ruin it. And the spot that was the reason for the cleaning didn’t even come out. The only reason they get one star is because it’s required for posting this review.

Even with the name change and location switch, service has not faltered. We receive our linens fresh and clean! We also love that the cleaning is organic/non-toxic and you can tell because there is no funky detergent scent!

Put a tear in a comforter, wouldn’t take responsibility because it was over a week since I picked up because we didn’t notice as we had our other duvet on the bed. Paid too much money for them to return a damaged item THEY damaged to not make any attempt to reconcile. Won’t use again.

Update: claims to know the condition of a comforter balled up and wrapped in plastic as if myself and the rude lady working up front inspected it before I left. We did not. They would not have known the condition of the comforter just as I didn’t until just opened it. Not even an offer to refund the money I wasted having them “clean” it. Terrible customer service.

Update: May 10,  I ordered another tie from amazon and with the receipt I was able to get compensation for the lost tie and a refund of the cost they charged for dry cleaning. at this point I felt satisfied that they did everything they could to make me whole and make it right for me as the customer. Thank you to George, who is the manager and owner of this business.

Another UPDATE: May 11,  I just got a call stating they have found the tie. They requested to come pick it up. I will update with the conclusion to this whole ordeal.

May 3,  First time and Last time I will go and these these services! I brought in a 5 piece suit for my 8 yr old’s 1st communion.

May 5,    I went to pick up the items 2 days later, I found out the tie was not there. Firstly, they tried to tell me they didn’t have the coat but the coat was there, it was the tie that was missing. Ok fine, I thought, I had time before the communion I’ll come back. When I came back 2 days later they had a tie with my name to pick up but it wasn’t the tie I had dropped off with the set suit. It was an adult tie with rhinestones and wasn’t even white. The suit set was pure white and was a child style size with a rubber string to attach on.
The person working there was very helpful, she called the park ave store and got in contact with “George” and instead of helping his coworker, he argued that “this” tie was my tie even though I clearly could tell it was not. She told me that he would correct this error and give me a call back when I could come pick up the correct tie.

May 7,  Went to see if the tie was found, but still not there.
May 9,  2 days later my husband calls the Blanding location store and still no tie. The employee tells him to call the other store and speak with “George” so he does.
Needless to say, they lost the tie. This man argued with my husband about how he could correct this error and how we could get a replacement due to the fact that I prepaid and now we would have to replace the item for the original set suit. The man had no sense of urgency for the fact that we would need this item for the communion ceremony in 5 days and argued how we were “disrespectful”.
In conclusion, there was an agreement made to buy another tie and that we would be reimbursed for the new tie to replace the one lost.
Will update tomorrow once I take the receipt for reimbursement…hopefully there will be less arguments in regards to this issue and I can have my son’s suit completed.

This was my first time using this business, and unfortunately, I will not be going back. I brought them six suits in to be cleaned and pressed. I picked them up today and immediately hung them in the closet upon getting home.

Fast forward to tonight, I pulled out a blue suit from the static bags they were in and was in dismay at how bad it looked. It had wrinkles all over it and looked as if it wasn't cleaned at all. I figured this may be a coincidence/fluke, so I pulled out a black suit and observed the same.

It genuinely looks like these weren't touched. They are wrinkled and had hair all over them. I could have done a better job with a lint roller and a steamer... very upset that I have to spend a few hours fixing this before wearing it tomorrow morning.

You may think you're saving money here, but I'd recommend looking somewhere else if you want quality. I'll let the pictures of my "cleaned" and "pressed" suit speak for my review. Those pictures were taken minutes after removing them from the static bag.

My husband took uniform pants in there to be hemmed and dry cleaned,  he was trying to have them longer than they previously had been.  First error,  the pants are the same original length.  Second, gregarious error they pressed in a hard wrinkle. Last but not least,  they left stains in the pants.  Waste of money.

I flew in for a wedding and needed a quick turn around. Called many places and the super kind lady at Blanding Dry Cleaners worked with me to make sure my suit was ready. I dropped it off the night before, and to my surprise, it was ready that next day just after lunchtime! I was so surprised. Then when I paid, the man was very nice to me as well and had my suit out very quickly. The price was much cheaper than I expected as well. The job was well done. Their efficiency, professionalism, and quality should be noted. Thank you for making a stressful situation so easy. I can't wait to wear my nicely pressed suit. I took my favorite sweater here to be dry cleaned. I specifically asked if it would shrink from what they do and was told no. Well guess what? They gave it back to me full of holes AND shrunken. And they tried to fix the wholes with the worst patch job ever seen. They also proceeded to ask if I have bugs bc they might be eating my sweater. I’ve had the sweater for 2 years and it is a $300 sweater. I lived in New York before and have had the sweater dry cleaned  at least 10 times. Never has it had a hole or shrunken. I’m not sure what kind of operation this is or what kind of cheap machines they use but I would not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their clothes or had expensive clothes.

This cleaners is near my home and I was disappointed when I stopped by to drop off a piece of clothing for alterations and learned that they no longer have that service. I’ve had dry cleaning done there before, and it was satisfactory.

My son is home on leave from the Airforce. He will be reporting to a new base upon return and needed his new rank patch sown on each sleeve and uniforms cleaned.  We are a big Navy town and they advertise military patches. I was VERY impressed they asked many questions of regulations of the USAF and also called to verify regulations to insure his uniforms were perfect and ready for inspection vs just assuming the regulations were the same as the Navy.  The fee to clean and add patches  to 6 shirts, 1 dress coat and to clean 5 pants, trench coat, windbreaker and cover (hat) was right at $200.  I had a bit of sticker shock initially, however, the customer service and peace of mind that my baby boy is ready for his new adventure is worth every bit of the money! This is one of the top Dry Cleaners in the Orange Park area. I used their service for my daughter’s ROTC uniform. With superior customer service by the ladies, they offer next day service and don’t over charge. FYI - They close early Saturdays and are closed Sundays. I don’t mind it, they need a break too 😊.
