My partner and I needed a formal dress and a jacket altered at very short notice. Clara and her colleague were fantastic -- they helped to find an imaginative solution for an issue the dress had, improved the fit overall, and did high quality work on both garments with a quick turnaround and very fair pricing. I am really grateful for their excellent service and will use them again in the future.

BEWARE these are not honorable or reasonable people! They are fine unless you are not happy...then you realize who you are dealing with. Bought my wife a nice pair of velvet pants that cost just over $200 and took them there for hemming. When she picked them up they had a square indelible 2" mark right on the front panel,. so super noticeable. Thought maybe the owner would be apologetic or offer some kind of courtesy something, right? NOPE! Why would we bring new pants to be hemmed if they were damaged? Makes no sense, and neither does the attitude of the owner. Too many better options in town and perhaps why they have many both 5 star and 1 star reviews. Clearly they don't take responsibility for their actions. Jeez!

kumlan I had some jeans that my wife wanted me to throw away, but I hid them in my closet and took them to Clara at Melrose Royal Cleaners. I asked her to patch the holes and make flared legs out of them. She got her seamstress, Kumlan, to design, select the fabric, and make the alterations for me. I love what she did and get compliments everywhere I wear them. They do a great job with my dry cleaning, as well.

First couple of times, no real issues. Then I drop off close on Tuesday to pick up the following Monday. Monday- only half the clothes are done. Wednesday- they can’t find them, call me later and say someone else got them but they’ll bring them back the next day. Thursday- give me my clothes with the bags half torn off, and for all my troubles, a 20% discount.
