New Absolute Laundry & Dry Clean

Great Spot for Travelers! I was visiting NYC and needed to do some laundry—this place was perfect. 1. There’s an ATM on site. 2. A machine for getting change. 3. A detergent vending machine as well. All of this made my life so much easier. Super convenient, especially if you’re from out of town!

NEVER USE THIS PLACE. I have had to file a report against them and they're under investigation. Not only did the rude lady LIE when I called ahead and asked if the machines were large enough for a large duvet. The change machine did not give accurate change and they REFUSED to fix the machine or give refund even though it was counted right in front of her. They are thieves! The machines are small and they stink of mildew. Save your money and effort and 100% skip this place.

They did a great job of cleaning our clothes and we were able to pick them up the same day with only a short 30 minute delay longer than the agreed time. They were life-savers as I had no other clothes for the trip - so thank you very much!

Efficient self explanatory service. Attendant courteous. Small washes cost U$5.25, larger loads U$8. Drier is 25c per 5 min. Laundering detergent is U$1.50 per load. Can also have laundry done by weight.

I have NEVER wrote a review before but the treatment that I experienced at New Absolute Laundry was so ATROCIOUS and therefore, I feel the need to warn others about what I experienced. I took a dress and a few dress shirts to get drycleaned on May 1st. The dress had three stains that the lady put stickers next to. I came back a few days later to pick up my items and the dress still had a stain. I pointed it out and the lady sent it back. I returned two other times to the laundromat and my dress was still stained. I started to get frustrated as each time I returned they kept saying that they would tell their off-site dry cleaners to get the stain and that kept not being the case. A week ago I was told my dress was ready for pick up and I went to go get it. When I arrived they said my dress was not ready. I was frustrated and they started SCREAMING at me that I was "dirty" and that I did not tell them about the stains. This turned into a week of me going into the laundromat EVERYDAY to see when the dress was ready and they started refusing to tell me when I could pick up my dress, and screamed at me each time telling me I am a liar and a troublemaker. One time I visited and another customer pointed to a number that I could call to complain. The asian lady that worked there yelled at her and put her hands on her. The customer threatened to call the police. After a month of this, multiple calls and visits, they called me to say my dress was ready. They never once apologized for taking a month to get a stain out but rather put the blame on me and the third party vendor. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, if the owner is reading this, please fire the asian lady and the manager.
