Dolphin Dry Cleaners & Alterations - Aspen/Wentworth

I’ve been getting the waist taken in on my jeans for almost a decade and this was unfortunately my worst experience. I was quoted $25 on the phone before coming and then again when I dropped off the pants, only to pay $45 when I picked them up. When I picked them up, the waist still wasn’t taken in properly. The stitching down the middle of the pants looks rough and isn’t even aligned. The owner, Imran Rajput, called me and told me the pants cannot be taken in any longer at from the back and would require more extensive alterations at the side, if I would like them to continue. I replied and said “at that point I would be worried the jeans were ruined” because of the poor work I saw on the stitching and alignment. I can’t speak for their dry cleaning services but unfortunately I think one of the cons of not having an in-house seamstress is that they are not able to see for themselves how much needs to be taken in for the person’s body but only guided by a pin in the clothes. I regret not going to my usual in-house seamstress, and I would have done so if I knew the prices would end up being the same. Imran became very offended by my response and began yelling at me on the phone. The last thing he said to me (word for word) was “if you write me a bad review, I will come after you”. He hung up the phone call when I said it was being recorded. Just overall, a very negative interaction with the owner, poor work, and poor customer service - very different from his generous and kind online persona quoted in the local news articles.

They cleaned my wedding dress and did a wonderful job- but before they cleaned it they gave me a quote, which was very fair. I get shirts and suits cleaned as well as other items here and we always have 10/10 service. The place is clean and everyone is friendly. They always have our items completed on time and sometimes even sooner than expected. We don't go anywhere else.
