This place might be fine for wash and fold, but I stupidly took a luxury item in for a repair and dry clean.

The item was a Burberry coat, and a precious gift. I wanted to get a freshen up after Winter, and to repair a small hole in the pocket.

They were completely careless with this, and have spoilt the value of the coat. The hole was pea sized and in the pocket - I have no idea what the heck they did to it. When they saw me clock their “work” they panicked and told me to leave it there for free. I wasn’t willing to do this, considering it was already the second time I was returning with the same item. Also note they double charged me.

Exercise caution.

(I took it further down the block to a different tailor, and they were shocked).

I have been using their wash and fold service for years and never had a single issue. They pick up and deliver for free, and are extremely friendly. They even remember my name, which is amazing considering how many customers they have. Couldn’t recommend New Spring Cleaners more highly.

I am a first time client of New Spring Cleaners. They did a fine job of tailoring my work uniform comprised of trousers, a blazer, long and shirt sleeve shirts.

The staff was friendly and the tailoring was completed on schedule. I will definitely come back for future work.

My partner and I have been going to Eddie's for the past three years. I've always considered the service satisfactory until I went to them to replace a zipper on a leather jacket. The jacket was inspected, a price was agreed-upon and I was given a slip. When returning to pay and collect the garment, they told me that they had to move the buttons next to the zipper because there wasn't enough space. I was charged an additional $20. I understand that miscalculations and mistakes happen however I was not called or notified about this added work and charge before hand. This inflation in the price was unreasonable and I should've been notified because I would've canceled the order. I will never be going back to Eddy's because they do not honor there prices. That is no way to do business. I will start going to one of the many other cleaners in the area and I suggest you do the same. They have violated my trust as a customer.

Been using Eddys cleaners for over 30 years they are the best in the neighborhood and have great prices. I know the whole family and are very friendly specially Eddys jr and Chris and of course Heidi the mom. Dad has since retired.

I needed some dry cleaning done in 1 day. Eddy's does in-house dry cleaning. There are only a few places in NYC  that does in-house cleaning anymore. This is one!

Their google maps hours are not correct. I arrived at 830 on Saturday morning and they were closed, leaving me with a sack of laundry to carry around. Making sure your hours are correct shows that you value your customers’ time.

As someone visiting from Canada who needed an impromptu dry cleaning for 2 of my silk dresses, I was absolutely blown by the incredible service that I received from Eddy’s!! Satin and silk garments are particularly finicky to clean and I was extremely apprehensive about where I wanted to get my dresses dry-cleaned, but after having read so many wonderful reviews from Eddy’s - I felt comfortable leaving them in their care and it was 1000% the correct decision. They have on multiple occasions ruined my sheets with machines that have residue bleach in them. Leaving bleach marks across all my coloured towels and bedding. I have had to throw away two towels. And all of my bedding is marked from the bleach - it looks like gross stains. I have asked multiple times for them to be careful and I keep getting items ruined. Will not be going here again - do not go here if you have sensitive skin. They do not clean their machines properly from when it’s being used with bleach. Utterly disappointed. UPDATED w/REPLY no this was not just one time. This was multiple multiple times. As you didn’t get back to my email I have attached the items you have ruined. Plus a hand towel that was so so so bad I had to throw it away. You have ruined multiple items on multiple occasions. I kept asking your staff to help. As you can see in the photos there are bleach/ detergent marks all over the items

The laundry room recently closed for maintenance in my apartment building and my clothes have been piling up as you can imagine. I've been struggling with finding an outside laundry facility to go to in fear that it would be a not so great experience.

Let me tell you... La La Laundry is where you want to be!! As soon as I entered the door with my laundry duffle and laundry hamper overflowing I was greeted with a smile and a hand wave and I did not feel any shame about having so many clothes to wash.

I did not have any trouble at all locating available washers and dryers and there are more than enough machines for everyone. Operating the machines was a straight forward process. The washers range in many different sizes and you can wash your clothes on any temperature you prefer.

You have to purchase a laundry card to wash your clothes. One of the employees was very helpful in showing me how to locate the card machine and upload funds. You can use your debit card to purchase a laundry card or cash. They sell laundry duffle bags if you need one, or forgot yours at home.

Employees are constantly cleaning out the machines so they are disinfectant and ready to use and the up keep of the laundry mac is on another level. It's a very clean and friendly environment and they are ready to meet your needs.

They offer a wide variety of services with some being alterations, dry cleaning, washing and folding your laundry for you and you also have the option to do your own laundry. They have music playing throughout, they sell a variety of plants if your thinking about being a plant parent for the first time or adding to your collection, and it's great lighting inside for a laundry selfie.

The ceiling is painted blue and white and it looks like clouds. It's such a warm and comforting vibe and the great customer service truly put my mind at ease. My only con is that my phone started dying halfway through while doing laundry and I was unable to locate an outlet to charge my phone. Other than that it's a 10/10 recommend. I think I found my new laundry mac and I hope I helped you find yours too ❤️

I left a coat that had a significant stain,  my fault a household product exploded in my suitcase over my travels containing a small amount of bleach therefor left a stain on the coat he promised he would do the best but told me the stain might  not come out completely and when I went there i had to remind him of the stain  but the guy was very quick and dismissive and quite honestly unfriendly after all I had to reexplain to him and told him wanted to check it out then and there and realized that indeed the stain hadn't come out completely !
I feel he just charged or should I say over charged me for a coat that maybe didn't even tried so hard to clean and further more it wasn't even properly ironed label and lining of the coat left wrinkly
That is why I do not dry clean most of my clothes nor I would even recommend this place 🤷🏼‍♂️

I have had an amazing experience ever since the new owner Chris came in 6 years ago. Super responsive and friendly. Always looks out for my stuff and will expedite if needed. Truly a gem vs. others I've tried in the past.

tl:dr - They lost $250 worth of clothing, and all I got was a $70 refund after three weeks of constant emails. their customer service sucks. Do not trust with your valuables.

I usually would feel bad about writing such a poor review, but this company clearly  has no idea how to handle customer service. The service itself was good--my clothes came back clean and folded, however I was missing four items that were set aside in a separate bag to Hang Dry. When I initially reached out to customer service, the said since I didn't select Hang Dry in the app, they were processed as regular wash and fold. I know this was my bad, as I should have marked Hang Dry, however it was in a separate bag marked as such, and I would also understand this if I had gotten the clothing back, but it was missing. I spoke with a number of customer service associates, from Lianne, to Callie, to Clint, and then someone named Constance. Each associate did not answer my questions, did not offer a refund or mention their policy, and said to just wait the ten day search period. After the 10 days, they were still not found. I requested a refund for services and a reimbursement for the cost of items lost, given that they were expensive workout clothing, all of these emails ultimately being ignored. The reimbursement policy made zero sense (reimbursement being no more than five times the total price of service, or less than $1,000---which was reasonable for my request to receive a refund for services and for the clothing lost) they were less than communicative, and after almost three weeks time still have not had my issue resolved properly. The offers they made to "make up" for losing my items were numbers pulled out of thin air, and none of them covered the cost of losing the items. I have no intention of ordering from this company again, and would be wary to trust them with your valuables. $250 worth of clothing lost and gone.

An ABSOLUTE nightmare.

I have been using them for a few years; I've never been thrilled, but for wash and fold it's adequate.

I've had many an issue which, due to wanting to avoid hassle, I've overlooked: Such as the shrinking (and thus ruining) of a brand new 500 dollar semi-formal dress from a young Australian designer, the MACHINE washing of a 700 dollar winter coat (when I EXPLICITLY asked for it to be dry cleaned because it had a fur hood).

They've also used the wrong detergent on my clothing; been hours late to pick up or drop off; have delivered the wrong items to me.

Now the cherry on the cake: they've lost 2 dresses they were to dry clean.  A Tibi dress and Opening Ceremony dress.

In short, over 1000 dollars worth of clothing damaged or "misplaced" and they don't give a damn.  You call, email, try to get an honest resolution to this and they tell you they can't find it....

They did offer me a 200 dollar credit for ruining my 700 dollar coat--which means I have to suffer using them again to utilize my credit.

Truly a nightmare.  Some of their staff try to be cordial: but it's unforgivable to lose so much stuff and be able to get away with it.  In their business, it's the equivalent of malpractice, yet just because they're offering a more mundane service there's no jurisdiction or regulation of their corruption and/or ineptness.

Customer beware!

DO NOT USE! They charged us a $125 then lost our clothes. We ended up finding them in another apartment building. Apparently, the doorman said they were at the wrong place, but the delivery guy did not care. We spent hours on the phone with customer service and then refused to give us a refund. Truly the worst experience. Use literally any other service.

I have read several of the reviews on this website and many of them include negative comments about their experience with this Nexxt shop.

When I went to pick up my three shirts that I had left three days prior to be dry cleaned they had not yet been delivered to the shop. I must admit I was upset because I was on a very tight schedule and had to depart mid day to Newark airport for a flight the following morning.

The lady on duty that morning was Ms Marieme.
She realized that I was stressed and upset and she did everything you would want a good customer support person to do to resolve the issue. I gave her my cell number and asked her to keep me advised of her communications with the head office which she did.

I finally had to depart without my shirts but I gave her the address of the hotel at Newark airport where I would be staying for one night.

She kept working the problem and sent me a message later that day that the shirts would be delivered by early evening. They were received at my hotel before 6 PM that day.

Besides being totally focused on resolving the issue for me she also has the most pleasant personality and customer interface.

ByNext company has been so amazing in its services. The staff services and commitment to laundry services has been simply amazing. The laundry delivery services has been wonderful too; time of pick up and delivery is excellent! The delivery man(Happy by name) is wonderful with his commitment to time of delivery and pick up laundry services.

I still commend ByNext and will always make recommendations.
