My experience with Laula's Tailor and Dry Cleaning was extremely disappointing, and a significant mistake has ruined a brand new garment intended for court.

I brought in a new blazer, a new blouse, and a new pair of pants for tailoring and dry cleaning, totaling $93. The new pants only needed their pockets sewn up to prevent flaring, for which I paid $2. The tailoring on all three pieces was absolutely perfect – truly excellent work, and it was completed by the promised due date of Saturday, June 28th at 4 PM.

However, upon arrival to pick up my order, I was informed that my brand new blouse was missing due to a "stain" and was being held for extended removal. This is not just a stain; this is clear heat damage/a burn mark on a 100% polyester shirt. This burn mark forces an unflattering crease below my chest, which is not suitable for court.

This shirt was pristine when I dropped it off, aside from minor wrinkles. To receive a brand new garment back with irreversible heat damage, especially after paying for professional dry cleaning, is completely unacceptable. When I asked what could be done about this damaged shirt, I was told that their external dry cleaner is on holidays and they wouldn't be able to discuss it for another 15 days. Given that a brand new item was ruined under their care, I am requesting a full refund of their dry cleaning services. The tailor shouldn't be taking the hit of the dry cleaners mistake.

While the tailoring was excellent, the significant and permanent damage to a brand new item due to a clear dry cleaning error is a major failure, shadowing over the tailor's excellent work. I hope this business decides to use a different, more professional external dry cleaning service to prevent similar damage to customers' garments in the future.

Laula's provides fair, fast and above all quality service. I have had pants hemmed, suits tailored and repairs done with Laula's and I have never been disappointed. I have even brought in patches to be sewn on. The prices are fair and the service excellent. No hesitation giving my five star rating. I also get my dry cleaning dne here and it has been excellent as well.

I have had many garments dry cleaned and tailored at Laula's - from formal dresses, to suits to casual clothing.  The staff are always very friendly and accommodating.  They do a great job and offer great value. Good quality services at a fair price.

Needed a tailor after we moved to the area. Took in a suit jacket for tailoring and she did a great job and I only had to wait 2 weeks. Will definitely return for alterations in the future. Only reason I put 4 stars is the jacket wasn’t ironed after the work was completed so I had to do that as it was all wrinkled.

Definitely recommend tailoring from these ladies! I have gone here for tailoring on quite a few dresses! Got a typical bridesmaid dress taken in, seam evened and leg slit fixed. Had a short summer dress taken in. And a Nigerian bridesmaid dress taken out. All the work has been very high quality and affordable.

Really disappointed in Tower Cleaners lack of accountability when it comes to responding to  the survey that they text to you after every pickup. I have left several messages on their forum to contact me regarding poor pressing and improper cleaning.   In fact they state they hand press some of my shirts and charge me up to 3x the price for terrible pressing.  They have terrible quality control and have ruined a few of my shirts while charging a premium.

Dropped off a single item on a Tuesday. Was told it would be ready Thursday 4pm, and that they would email me when it was ready.

By Friday morning, no email. Emailed to ask the status... no reply.

Called Friday noon, was told it might be ready at 4pm that day, but not guaranteed. Asked how I could prevent this kind of delay in future, since I need the item for this weekend - I was told to drop items off earlier, and that they can't guarantee any timings.

They weren't keen to deliver the item to me - "I don't know what their delivery schedule looks like so you should probably collect it".

This location is really convenient for me, and I was hoping they wouldn't be this bad! Learn from my mistake and go to Fishman's.

Edited to add: Tower did not charge me for the cleaning of my garment, and it was ready for delivery at 4pm on the Friday. It was, though, still visibly dirty on the hemline - which is always a nice touch!

Not a great experience, dropped my jacket to dry clean to get rid of stain. On pickup I found they didn’t even touch the stain and charged me $18 bucks. The girl says we don’t guarantee for removal. Finally they sent to redo.

Friendly staff, fast services, and very affordable! It is my go-to dry cleaner! You get an email confirmation when you drop off your stuff and you get an email notification when it is ready for pick up, super convenient! They always complete the work on time and the result is very good every time. I once sent my super dirty winter jacket to them to clean, and it came back clean and fluffy like new.

Customer service was friendly, however, I was told that my suit would be ready on a certain day but when I came to pick it up that day I was told it wasn’t ready. If they were honest from the beginning, I wouldn’t have minded and would’ve have probably come back some other time. This was my first time coming to this store for my dry cleaning, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Good Service, Do a great job cleaning and pressing, and are reasonably priced, the only issue I had is went to pick up on Saturday at 2:00 pm and it wasn't open even thought the website and hours on the door showed they were open till 5.

They are convenient, fast, with good customer service! Never had any issues and they often send customers coupons for services (spring cleaning- discount on duvets, etc.). It’s hard finding places for dry cleaning in this area of the city, I’m glad to have it!

I took my Down Duvet to get dry cleaned. I mention it was stained with blood. I finally picked it up, get home and it’s still stained.

I take it back first thing in the morning. I asked them how come you didn’t tell me that the stain wasn’t removed? So Dan responded by saying “Would you have paid for it” unreal this guy charged me $60 something and is a pure shyster.

So we agreed I’d get it cleaned elsewhere and I sure did. Avalon Cleaners honest, very affordable and great customer service.

I recently went to this place with my girlfriend to have a jacket and leggings stitched up… when we arrived, it was around closing time and the woman that helped us was British, and she was just closing up for the day… I understand that they were closing. We just wanted to drop it off and leave it with her and just contact us when it was finished and we could come pick it up…She gave us a price and Took down our information… and she told us it would be about two days to get ready. That’s a great timeframe no worries we agreed to it… We waited a few days didn’t hear anything from You… So we just waited until the weekend to come pick it up… When we went To grab it just this past weekend we walked in she was helping someone to alterations… But she didn’t even acknowledge us… Nor another customer that was right behind us…. Waited about 10 minutes and she finally helped us… We asked if it was ready. She said it has been ready… When I asked her why we weren’t contacted When the repairs were finished, she simply told us that they sent us a text, but we never got it. An in turn she blamed the network…. The excuse’s provided along with the poor customer service is disappointing…. She did however charged us less than what was quoted…but I would not come back to this location.

I came to visit here for stitching and sizing . The service offered was so great and they were to patient with me. Specially mashit served me with great politness and she even doesn’t charged me for sizing . Highlu recommended to visit..

I came here hoping to get a pant tailored, but I honestly couldn't believe the lack of professionalism and the i guess the Owner was so rude whil i asked for details . Also There were small dogs roaming freely around the clothes —one even jumped up on the chair next to me while I was waiting. I love animals, but not when I’m trying to have a serious fitting and there's dog hair everywhere. The place didn’t feel clean, and the dogs barking made it hard to communicate with the staff. Definitely not coming back.

The company representatives (owner included) were ignorant and displayed a very poor attitude towards me, a loyal customer of over 20 years. Never again will I support this company with my dry cleaning and laundry needs. The past few visits really disappointed me with the snotty, poor attitude in how they communicate. In addition I was very surprised and not pleased when the owner, Mr. Ho, physically and abruptly grabbed my valuable clothing out of my hands when I was trying to show him and the Asian woman something that was in need of attention. The very last visit I was there, the same Asian lady physically threw my receipt at me and walked away while saying something in her language instead of handing it to me personally and saying "thank you for your business" for example. They both expressed poor manners along with disrespectful demanor towards me. I have been bringing my loyal support and business to this company for two decades and will NEVER trust them again. They are nowhere near polite, respectful, considerate and show zero gratitude for my business. I hope that many customers online see this and reconsider their options before coming to this establishment and having poor and disrespectful service towards you, the paying and supportive customer. I gave them a number of second chances but their consistent poor attitude discouraged me from every wanting to go there again with my clothing. Trust me, there are much, much better dry cleaning companies that smile and say hello when you arrive and thank you when you leave.

Zero stars. My girlfriend went to get her dress hemmed. Not only did it cost $150, they threw it in a cheap plastic bag like it was trash and pretty much ruined the dress. Save yourself some time and never go here, the service was horrible as well. If this is the job they did for a wedding I can’t imagine what they’d do to regular clothes

I recently took a dress in to be hemmed.....I was told the cost would be $60.00!!!!! Which I refused to pay and brought it to another seamstress and she charged me 25$. Definitely something wrong with their pricing. Oh well, they lost me as a customer.
