I have never met a more friendly person who also works within your price range, in a fair and honest way. He helped me with recommendations on where to source the materials that I needed for reupholstering my outdoor patio furniture (previously all bright red pillows), and he also completed hemming details on five pairs of pants (which were various different materials, including corduroy, denim, and dress pant material). His communication and attention to detail is outstanding, and he is so warm and friendly. There is a single change room inside the shop in order to try on the garments, and there is also street parking out front of the shop. If you are looking for exceptional craftsmanship AND looking to support a small business, I cannot recommend him enough! You will not be disappointed, and you will definitely be returning with all of your tailoring needs!

It's a bit easy to miss this shop, but the service is top-notch. As soon as you enter the place, the ambience just seems legit. Touch Stitch expertly repaired a rip in a much-loved and delicate leather jacket. When we dropped off the jacket, they communicated an expected wait time and cost. When we picked it up, they showed us how they fixed it and gave advice on how to prevent further stresses on the repaired area. Overall, a great experience. Opens 11am (if you come earlier collect the poly bag put the clothes inside and keep your phone number inside with when you want to collect) and closes 5pm (take care, after the time you may miss the collection) call before you go to take delivery. Bus route 4,7,91 near at Union/king.

Opened for me after I arrived after 2pm so I could pick up my suits… so grateful! (Was coming from London, so really appreciate them understanding!)

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I just went there to dry clean our winter jackets/shoes. One of them was a white jacket with only a tiny red pen mark on it that needs to be removed. When I came back home, I found the entire jacket is tainted in green and could not be removed no matter what (I did not discover the spots there because they hid this one behind other clothes). There was only a pink note on the hanger saying "that was the best they could do". We cleaned for $200 worth of clothes. They did not even bother to say they were sorry to our face. When I called in, their owners were out of town and no one could give us a proper explanation for another whole week. If anyone is looking for a place to dry clean, this is NOT the place you want to go.

Quality of service has gone down over the years. They punctured the fabric of my expensive Massimo Dutti technical jacket (see photo) to attach their yellow tag. The holes from the attachment gun have torn the fabric and treads in a way that is irreparable and noticeable. They also dry cleaned my Banana Republic wool pants and ruined the hem. Instead of offering to fix the hem, they folded the pants over the hanger, so I wouldn't see the messed-up hem until I need to wear them again. Sad and this location so expensive. :(

Took my wedding dress to be cleaned here. The staff was very friendly and even told me to come back at a later date to get a discount on my cleaning.

The dress was quite dirty on the bottom and had a small soup stain on the neckline. The cleaning job was great but not impressed with the box. It is way too big for my dress so the dress moves around in it a lot and looks like it was just thrown in there. Can't fix it because I'm not supposed to open the box either or take out the dress because it voids the warranty. Not worth the $50 and wouldn't recommend getting the box.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. I took an expensive white dress shirt in to have a small spot removed. It was returned with the spot still there, new yellow staining all over the shirt and a hole in it. Both the owner and store clerk were argumentative and rude, would not apologise, and refused to admit any wrongdoing. Then, they had the gall to tell me I was at fault for the damage they caused. I had to fight to get a mere $25 compensation for ruining my shirt. SHOCKING to be treated that way by a local small business. I recommend strongly you avoid Newtex.

The store is bright, clean, and inviting. The service and quality of dry cleaning are good. As well, I able to pickup my dry cleaning on the day and time that was specified on the receipt.

However there was some confusion with the closing time. Their website says 5:00 pm, but the sign posted on the doors states 4:30 pm. They should update their website to reflect this change.

I wish I'd stumbled upon this place earlier. Got my blazer dry-cleaned for a very reasonable price. Looks as good as new and got it back the next day. The lady at counter was super nice and very professional while addressing my questions. Will definitely visit again.

Dropped off my Hayley Paige wedding gown to get dry cleaned. It has some mud at the bottom otherwise it was perfect. I asked a few times if it’s possible for the beaded bodice to get tarnished because I’d heard of that happening with certain dry-cleaners. I was assured that has never happened before, but some beads might fall off. I said that’s fine. Then I was asked to sign a waiver that they can’t guarantee it’ll get fully cleaned. Got my dress back a month later, the bodice was completely tarnished and black. Worst condition than when I dropped it off! I also had to pay $250 for the “cleaning”! Sent two emails to the owner and finally a phone call prompted a response which was that they don’t know why that happened. Sooo sad :(
