My wife and I both had our wedding dresses cleaned and preserved here. They did a beautiful job, they were done in just a few days, and it was only $320 each. Highly recommend!

I took a pair of very expensive hand crafted Magnanni dress shoes to Clothing Care to have a heel replaced that was lost attending the Kentucky Derby a few years back. The work was excellent. I think they are better than they were new. Their artisans did an exemplary job and I would recommend them to anyone!!!

Overpriced alterations and couldn’t meet their own deadline. We told two shirts requiring taking in would be complete within one week. I called on day 7 to ask if they were ready, and I was told they hadn’t been started but would definitely be finished the next day (Friday, day 8). Called around 1pm when I didn’t receive an update to ask if they were ready. I was told one shirt was complete and the other was “opened up” and being worked on. I reinforced I need the shirt for an event that night and had been told it would be completed that day. I confirmed it would be completed no later than 4pm. I called back at 4:30pm after receiving no updates, and I was told the shirts were finished but they wouldn’t be available to be picked up until the next Monday because they hadn’t been pressed. I said I needed the shirts and had to decline the pressing. For the trouble, I received a measly 10% discount and when I went to iron the shirt before wearing it that night, it was completely covered inside and out in loose threads. Will never be back to this place.

I took two pieces of clothing to be cleaned. They were done very nicely. I removed the plastic wrap from them when I got home and the cleaning fluid was so pungent. I aired out both pieces of clothing and still the stench remained. I called the store and I was told that they would reclean the items for me free of charge. I was very Happy because I don't like my clothing  smelling like chemicals. They cleaned it again and the sense was still there but not as strong. I aired out the clothing for a couple of weeks and still was unable to wear them because of the stench. I called and asked to speak to a manager and the individual that I spoke to told me that he would take care of the situation. He advised me that he would send me a check in the mail for the amount of money that I paid for the cleaning. That was before Christmas. As of yet I am still waiting for my refund check. I am only writing this review so that this does not happen to anyone else. This is not good business. A good business must be honorable and do a good job with the services that they offer. This experience was definitely not worth a one-star rating.

I brought clothing care an unusual repair, it was this hardshell guitar case which works as a shoulder carry bag. I don't think I have a before photo but this is after they fixed it it was something I thought I was going to have to throw away!  The zipper and inside fabric was ripped out.I bought it from a music store which is no longer in business and I don't think it could have been replaced exactly the way it was. 5 Stars!!

Martinizing Dry Cleaning

I brought in my mom’s wedding dress that had never been cleaned. I’m wanting to use some of the lace to make my granddaughters 1st communion dress. My mom passed away in 2007 and never got the chance to meet my granddaughter. Jen did an AMAZING job on the dress. The stains that were there are clean and it looks absolutely beautiful. Thank you so very much!

I was in Columbus for a special event. I needed  a couple of sport jackets, slacks and a shirt pressed same day for an early evening event. My Google search led me a Martinizing cleaners on N Hamilton Rd., Gahanna. Their reviews we great! My experience was the same! My phone call prior to arrival was friendly,  warm and willing to accommodate my short term request. My clothing looked great! Well done and thanks for your outstanding service!!

I would give them  zero stars if that was an option! They are deceitful with their pricing.  I will not patronize them again and encourage  others not too as well. Quote me one price and then when I arrive charge me a higher price. And they don't list their prices in plain sight . I plan on calling the Better Business Bureau on them.

I dropped my stuff off. A list of 10 items. I had called about a specific thing I wanted done to an item of mine. I dropped all of my things off and then I went back to pick them up. It was more than I was expecting. Not due to the amount of items but the expense of said items. I had brought in pearl snap shirts along with normal button downs. I was failed to be told the pearl snaps would be almost double the price of the regular button downs. The other thing was my jeans. I haven’t had a pair of my jeans starched before. But that’s what I had called about asking if it can be done and I was told it could. And when I dropped off I asked for them to be cleaned and starched. I pick them up. They’re clean but not starched. Starching jeans has a very unique feel and look to add to the jeans. Just based on the feel of the jeans I could tell it was not done.

The worst customer service in the world! I took sequined dresses for dry cleaning. I need stains out and this is what I paid $71.55 for and was forced to pay or my “items would be kept”. She said the item CAN NOT be dry cleaned although that’s what it was taken there for. Don’t use this business. They don’t know what dry cleaning is. She admitted to hand washing because the garment’s glitter would get on her machine. If you want terrible customer service/ ineffective cleaning please go here.

My favorite dry cleaner in Columbus! I will drive cross town for them. I had a last minute event and needed a dress pressed same day. I arrived and they took my garment to the back, offered it to bring it out to me while I waited in my car. Staff is polite, clean facility.

I’ve used them 3 times so far and they always get my suit done in a timely manner. Every single time, they’ve finished my order a day or two earlier than expected. Their work and customer is excellent and I’ll continue to use them!

This is the fastest I have ever gotten my laundry done. The place is clean, prices are reasonable and the attendants are friendly and helpful. All of the machines are in good working order. The few that are down are very clearly marked. Highly recommended.

What an amazing experience.   I came to this location to wash a couple loads of laundry. Tina  Was so kind . I stopped her because even my children made a comment to me saying how nice she was. She was helping us load our laundry &  Really just going above and beyond! One of the washers had a malfunction and she offered to wash the load dry it and I could come back and pick it up when she was done. When I came back to pick it up, it was folded and neatly in bags. Fantastic place.  Our dryer went out at home and we had a load of wet jeans.  We were going to pay with a credit card and the kind lady who works there stopped us and told us that they held a 15 dollar deposit on the card.  She gave us the money to pay for the dryer. And asked us to pass it on.  Recommended for everyone.

She immediately greeted me upon my arrival and assisted me with operating the wash equipment. She made sure the laundromat was tidy/clean by sweeping and wiping down tables, all while routinely checking in on me to ensure that I was ok during my entire wash/dry process. I called at 8:00 am for repair of my suit pants, brought them in and asked if they could be repaired by the next morning.  I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they could be done the same day, and I was able to pick them up after 4:00 pm.

The staff was very friendly and the repairs were expertly done.  I have already recommended Rockwood  on E. Johnstown  Road to  my son and daughter in law for alterations.  Well done!

We tried Rockwood service for the first time and brought in about 20 items. After inspecting our clothes when we got home, we were not satisfied with the quality of their service. The owner contacted us the next day and apologized. They picked up our clothes the following day, redid everything, and delivered within that day. I am highly impressed with their proactive customer service. I originally rated them low based on our initial impression, but how they handled our complaint was top notch so I now give them a 5 star rating.
