They completely destroyed my mother’s fur coat. I dropped it off in close to perfect condition & told him how old it was. He said no problem! I had even inquired about if they did fur coats prior to bringing it in & told him it belonged to my deceased mother. This coat is so special to me & priceless. When I came to pick it up, they had left it wet in a plastic bag for over a week & never called to tell me what happened. He was less than apologetic & I’m enraged! Do NOT take anything you care about here unless you want it to be ruined 😡 They will be receiving a bill from my lawyer!

John and his wife are both amazing. I have been going to them for 3 years now. They are always so warming and welcoming. When John gives me my clothes it always has a fresh feel.

My wife brought in a fur coat that was given to her after her mother passed. We brought it in for a cleaning, due to a lipstick stain on the collar. Upon dropping off she explained that the coat was vintage and of its personal significance in order to ensure its correct care. And explicitly asked if they “were able to take care of it” She was reassured that it was in good hands. At pick up, the coat was peeling and separated at the seams of the pelts and the skin completely dried out. With the fur still wet due to being kept in a plastic bag for days without being told of the damage. The owner told her “they stopped as soon as the noticed the damage” though they neglected to reach out to tell us of the damage and left it wet in a bag. The owner was complete dismissive and non apologetic about ruining a coat with sentimental value. Stating “we can fix it, but you can’t wear it” we declined, why would we let the person responsible for destroying it in the first place “fix it”?!? We have since taken the coat to be looked at to get fixed and it is deemed a loss, and noted that “they mishandled and should never have accepted the item at all.” My wife and I have both been long time small business owners and are understanding of mistakes. However, the attitude a business when they make a mistake says a lot. Take your dry cleaning elsewhere.

They have done cleaning, altering and specialty cleaning for me...and everything has been top notch! John and his team are great!

I am fairly new in town and had a bridesmaid dress emergency and Mr. John was so helpful! I had some major alterations done on my dress last minute at another shop and needed it pressed and he had it done not only in record time but it was perfect! I am so grateful for Joy Cleaners help and I will tell everyone I know to go there!
