Hart's Drycleaning and Laundry

Had a 8×5.5 wool off white rug to be cleaned. Called and got a quote of 1.89 dollars per sq.ft. Brought in the rug and was told it would be ready in 7 to 10 days. Got it back in 3 weeks at a cost of 2.50 a square ft. Unrolled it at home and it was as dirty as when I took it in

If I could post zero stars I would. Worst place to bring your clothes. Harts cleaners at 3090 hemesdale place in Lexington has the most unapologetic, rude, disgusting and disrespectful employees that you can ever lay eyes on. They are not to be trusted with your clothes. I chose this location because it is right across the street from my home, however that is one of the worst mistakes I could have done. Upon going to pick up my clothes. I noticed I had the same stains on my clothes that led me to get it dry cleaned. However clothes were not cleaned at all. I made sure I pointed out that I specifically wanted the lint removed from my clothes and the lint was not removed at all. Upon asking why my services that I paid for was not complete, I got a rude reponse from an uneducated, dry faced, bad teeth having old lady. She said she will not guarantee clean clothes and she does not provide lint removal service. My response is what am I paying for because they should have disclosed this upon drop off. I gave them another chance to clean it since no work was done and when I came back the same stains were on my clothes along with hair. The women’s response was “well it’s your hair”. The worker was incredibly rude and unapologetic. And let me add she had bad teeth in her mouth! If you want to get your clothes cleaned properly, DO NOT, I say DO NOT GO TO HARTS CLEANERS!!! This location has the rudest, uneducated, hillbillies that you will ever run across! Service was not received at all! Clothes still have lint and food stains on it! All the did was bag it up and return it right back to me. No cleaning has occurred!

Today , I stopped by to pick up my laundry at Harts dry cleaning right at 1 pm or very latest 1:01 . The door was not locked. When no one came out I opened the door to find one lady counting the cash and another that appeared to be the supervisor was just watching her. I asked if I could pick up my clothes and was told no we close at 1pm. I explained I'll pay with a credit card which would not interrupt the person counting the money. The lady watching was very abrupt and again said no. I asked her name and for the number of the owners. She refused to give me either. I believe Harts is still locally owned. I'm not sure how customer service is defined these days but I will be driving 20 minutes one last time to this location to pick up my clothes next week because I was at most 1 minute past closing. I had been doing business with the dry cleaners just across Todd's for 20 years which Harts bought so I just transferred over to Harts. The previous dry cleaners stayed open until 3 pm on Saturdays which was more convenient for me. I rarely post anything but the abruptness border line rude of the supervisor just seemed like it should be noted. The simple solution will just be for me to find a different dry cleaners, stay polite and certainly not let this have any negative affect on me today.

I've used their services for about a year or so. They do good work, but a gal that works there seems like she's angry at the world and is very unfriendly. Very rude. She shouldn't be working there. I'll never go there again unless they get a nice person to replace her.

Stephanie was a lifesaver. After a long day she still answered the phone at 6pm and agreed to wait around another few minutes as I was stuck in traffic and needed my clothes for a early am trip. She went above and beyond. Give this gal a raise. She is not your typical employee!
