Took me a little bit to post this review as I wasn't exactly sure what to say about the service I received. It was basically a giant snafu that they tried to fix the best way they could. I used to go to another store in town to get my Canada Goose cleaned but their reviews had gone down in the last few years so I decided to try another place. Just FYI, the previous place had always done a wonderful job with my coat. Stephen Cleaners has a 4.9 rating so in my head, no way something could go wrong. I dropped off my coat on a Friday and was told to come back on the Tuesday (The lady was very nice and I believe was the manager). The next Tuesday, I come around 9:30 and the lady at the front desk (another very nice one) tells me she is extremely sorry but they only get the goods back after 4PM everyday. She said she was extremely sorry that no one explained that to me. Well, maybe they told me and I forgot? Maybe, they forgot to tell me? But ok, alright, I would be back next day then. The Wednesday, I come back again around 9:30 and the ladies tell me they are terribly sorry but something happened to my Canada Goose. The upper string broke and they now have to replace it. They didn't call me to let me know and I actually got an email the night before around 5PM to let me know it was ready to pick up. I was NOT happy. The ladies profusely apologized and told me someone should have called me to let me know. They didn't know what had happened to the coat and said it was the very first time something like this did happen. There was no exact ETA on a fix but that should be end of next week. So a total of 10 days! I left pretty angry to be honest. I understand snafu can happen but you should have called! Anyways, a few hours later, they call me back to let me know that the manager had come in (she usually doesn't work on Weds) and sent my coat to their seamstress for next day service. They profusely apologized again and told me to come back after 5PM. The next day, I do call to make sure it's ready and the manager tells me she just got it and it's 100% good to go. I go to the store, the manager is here and 100% admit is was her mistake and she should have called me. I get the coat back and well, the string is a little different and way too long vs the original one. Also, it's less thick so quality seems so-so. After trying it on at home, it still does the job but I had to cut it shorter to make it look "similar" to what I had before. I understand it probably wasn't easy to find the same thickness on such a short notice but maybe they should have reduced the price of the cleaning? It was $85 so NOT exactly cheap. Maybe I should have complained but they had tried so hard to make me happy that I didn't feel like it. (I should have checked everything while I was there I guess because they had to open up my coat and the stitches ARE visible. See photo. I believe the seamstress tried to reinforce it to make sure it wouldn't break. Thankfully it's a spot that no one would see but you can clearly see it's different vs the original.) All and all, I think they are great people but my experience is obviously so-so or pretty subpar. I am not sure how to describe it considering I had to pay full price for something that wasn't fixed up to standards and that I will need to fix later on at my own expense. It's a $1K coat we are talking about so it would be hard to be 100% satisfied after my personal experience. At least the coat didn't have any stains left and smelled nice! In the meantime, I used my lifetime CG warranty to ask them if they could send the original string back so that I can properly fix the coat. They actually want me to send the coat back and my warranty is technically void since I authorized Stephen Cleaners to fix it instead. My fault. Just as an FYI in case you get a similar experience and wonder what to do next.

Wonderful service - great price. Fixed my shirt, and got a difficult stain out of my favourite yellow sweatshirt. I also loved that for no charge, they will dry clean an outfit for you if you have a job interview. I didn’t need the service but I love that they do that for the community. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I am really impressed all around. 1.with the quality of their service. They got out some pretty bad stains. Not only that, but their staff are very friendly, when I went to check the stains they checked with me to ensure it met my expectations. 2. Their price - I was expecting to pay more for the quality given. 3. Their ethics, they clearly are there for the community with unique supports to raise up those around them. 4. Their communication is clear, and timelines were met without issue! Update: just used them again and had the exact same level of service and care! They staff were knowledgeable when I inquired about getting my wife's wedding dress done! Super service, that gives back to community. Well done yet again.

I brought in a dress and a blazer. Simple material. No stains. 50 bucks to clean. Service was great but the prices feel really high.

When I picked up the item that I had cleaned, I was very surprised of how spectacular it looked. At one point I didn't think it was mine because it looked so different. So clean. Excellent job, thank you!
