Every time I have used Bluegrass Cleaners, they are quick, reliable, and inexpensive. I highly recommend them. I felt the need to leave this review because I swung by yesterday to pick up some items I dropped off for cleaning two days prior. When I got there, there was a customer in front of me that was incredibly rude and difficult with the young man who was working. Listening to the exchange for nearly 10 minutes, I can say the young man handled the situation very professionally, going above and beyond to diffuse the situation and apologize repeatedly (even though he was not at fault) to the irrational customer. I’d dropped off a suit in a hurry, and completely forgotten to check the pockets.  Within ten minutes of dropoff, I received a phone call in which the wonderful young lady informed me I had left cash and a check in the pockets.  She quoted the exact amount of both.  It would have been very easy to say it must have fallen out while I was carrying it in, or to simply say she hadn’t found anything in the pockets.  But she was honest and upstanding, and did what a lot of people might not have.  She has won my loyalty to this business for as long as I live in Lexington.

Took my wedding dress here to get the dirt and mud cleaned out of the hem/bustle line to wear it again for my reception. Everyone was nice but I was disappointed when I picked it up. They charged me the full $275 for the cleaning and didn't offer to show it to me out of the bag when I picked it up. I then asked to see it in store. It looked better but still had a giant stain across the train. They said they couldn't do anything about it. Wish they would have been up front at pickup about the remaining stains, what they did to the dress and why they didn't want to proceed, and maybe provide a discount if it's not truly clean. Providing some stars due to the fact that they were polite and told me up front they may not be able to get all the stains.

OK, let me say this, I HATE going to laundromat. I think a lot of you share that same sentiment. I would rather wash my clothes, from the comfort of my home, any given day. Well, when one of the important laundry components break down 😫, you gotta do what you gotta do, if you want clean clothes. Well, enter Splash 'Em Out Laundromat on Reynolds Rd, Lexington KY. Yes, there are other locations, throughout the city; but I went to Reynolds Rd. I was kinda shocked because you use a paycard, which you load funds to operate the washers and dryers. I wasn't expecting that and was wondering why my daughter didn't stop by the bank so I could get change. Well, it's not really needed. The washing machines are huge. They vary in sizes from holding 2 loads all the way up to 8 loads. There is a small gaming area in the back. There's plenty of seating and televisions. This particular location is best suited for people who are standing because the super-sized washers are pretty high up off the floor. If I didn't have my daughter with me, I wouldn't have been able to put the various detergents, bleach or fabric softeners into the dispensers, located on top of the washers. So, if you're wheelchair bound, have someone with you, at this location. I don't know how the machines are at the other locations. They are open kind of late. Last load goes in at 9pm. It's right next door to No 1 China Buffet, if you happen to get hungry while your clothes are washing or drying. There are plenty of tables to sit at. The attendant keeps everything nice and clean.

So, if you need to get laundry done and don't have a washer/dryer at home or something is broken, head on over to Splash 'Em Out Laundromat. Your clothes will get super clean and soft. The dryers dry pretty fast.

So I would love to be able to pick up my laundry when I am told its ready for pick up. I prepaid for the service and when I came to pick it up no attendant was on duty. Also calling the number gets you to what I believe is an ai phone service. This is not the first time me or my roommate have came to use the service and their is no one. Normally hood service and nice people but only irritated since I prepaid for it and their is no help for me to get my laundry today.

I loved this place it's one of my favorite places to wash clothes. That was until recently that I literally got yelled at by an older women with white short hair. Because I went a tad late but before 9:30. I left some clothes  in the washer and went back to my car to get some stuff and when I came back. She literally yelled at me and asked me that if I couldn't read. Even tho she saw me the first time I came in and didn't say anything. I get that maybe I came a bit late but I also work in customer service and there's a way to say things. In a respectful manner. She was even telling me to leave even tho I had clothes in the washing machine. I had to pack up and leave. I felt so disrespected that I'm  honestly not coming back.

This laundromat is super clean. We went up to the self service, kiosk and loaded up the card with no problem. The attendant helped us with any of our needs. They were several machines to choose from all functioning and good working condition. My clothes have never been so clean! Stop on by.

Normally my experience at this location is perfectly satisfactory, but tonight I witnessed what is now the actual worst behavior I have EVER seen from an employee at any business in my 42 years of life. The lady working was an older woman, with very short gray hair, and I believe she was wearing glasses. I was so absolutely baffled at her behavior I forgot to look for her name tag.
This woman yelled, and I do mean YELLED at the top of her lungs, repeatedly, at a couple of people. She yelled at a toddler first and that was bad enough. The poor (incredibly sweet, smiling the whole time) young man who took the brunt of her wrath did not speak English. What was the crime that had her following him through the laundromat, waving her arms and screaming at him? He accidentally made it to the door about 30 seconds after she locked it at 9:30. See, despite being OPEN until 11, you aren't allowed to start a new load after 9:30. They lock the door and the sign says "no re-entry after 9:30." I have never seen the other attendants enforce this, but regardless there was no excuse for her screaming "what do you think this means?! What does this sign mean to you?!" Then she chased him to the washer screaming "Get your clothes! NOW! GET THEM NOW! I SAID NOW!" The whole time this poor sweet man is just trying to understand what she is screaming. She screams at him that he is not allowed to fold his clothes - why? The place is open until 11 and it's 9:30? I was in the unfortunate position of having to leave in the midst of this, and she yelled about my kids coming to the door to help me carry my 2 huge loads of laundry. She had the nerve in the middle of two of her tirades to say "You'll have to excuse me, I've been up all day " Absolutely not. There is no excuse in the world. My kids were shaking in anger after watching her chasing and screaming at the poor guy, nevermind her rudeness to us. I'll be calling too, but I absolutely had to get this out tonight.

I have used Harts for close to 40 years. I've always had great service and with a reasonable time for the service and reasonable price too. I've had suits cleaned, wool sweaters cleaned and shirts ironed. Never have I had a single issue with the services. Thanks for being reliable Hart's.

I took my winter coat to Hart's last year in September 2023.  We had a mild Fall and Indian summer so I stored my coat upon receipt.  When I needed to use it in January 2024 I discovered that the snaps on my coat had been destroyed by the dry cleaning process and no one told me.  When I brought the coat back the man in charge asked me why I waited so long to bring it back and how old was my coat and that it looks like I needed a new coat instead of reimbursing me for the damage.  They took my information and upon contacting them twice I have received absolutely nothing.  No money back, nothing!   I had been a good customer of this establishment for years.  Why the harsh treatment?

Do not trust Hart with your important items. They ruined a 200 dollar signed Bengals jersey. Ruined it with not taking proper care or following instructions!

Service here is horrible! They simply don't care. Brought a couple of slim fit stretch dress shirts here and they stretched out all the shirts and I just can't use the shirts again. I ignored that, however a Polo of mine was stained when I was picking it up and requested they get the stain off it. I return a week later and I'm told that the manager insists that the stain was there! Service here is horrible and I hardly leave bad reviews.

Terrible service on husbands fine quality wool suit. Damaged it. Looks they put a iron to it also having crease marks where there shouldn't be none! Recent stains from toddlers drool that can come out with water wasn't out. even showed them it comes out. She admitted it looked like it was done wrong and still charged me full price with no refund allowed!  Just a review to tell others the service They gave for dry cleaning suits!

They ruined one of my Calvin Klein dresses. What used to be an ombre white to blue dress came back as almost yellow and blue, and they were unable to get the smell out of it which is why I had it dry cleaned in the first place. There were also scuff marks all over it like they dragged it through the floor. So there goes a $170 dress. The suits I had cleaned came out fine, as far as I know, but I'm highly disappointed they ruined such an expensive dress. I won't be going back. Stay away!

Two bad experiences. They didn’t clean a suit well, and obvious spit up stain from a baby that’s easily cleanable was left. Gave them a second chance. Brought a dress that was also left stained and poorly cleaned. They didn’t offer any discount or refund either time. Would not recommend at all. Prices aren’t competitive either.

I took my wedding gown to get it dry cleaned, the hem of the gown was dirtier than before, I had unexplained black spots on the dress, and there were snags in the fabric. This dress had only been tried on before, I was wanting the makeup removed from the inside of the dress before I wore it for my wedding. When I called the dry cleaner she was extremely unprofessional and told me the dress had dirt on those places already, they couldn’t get it any cleaner and hung up on me.

Very unprofessional! The lady I spoke to quoted me one price that was incorrect but no one bothered to inform me of the correct price then left a very disturbing note on my dress. When I went to pick up the dress the first time it had red spots all over it, so they told me they would clean it again but when I went to pick it up they pretty much accused me of creating the spots. Both of the women in the store were very unprofessional and the one lady tried to be nice nasty she act like she had a attitude the whole time I was in there she was very rude with a smile🤷🏾‍♀️. Brought in two items, one being a dress and a sweatshirt. I do believe they did their best to get the stain out of the dress but the coloring of the previously stained area is not the same as the rest of the dress, sadly my $300 dress is ruined.

My sweatshirt that I brought in had three very small yellowish colored stains from butter. When I picked up my items and commented on how the stain looked worse and a different color they accused me of spilling wine on it when I had told them from the beginning that I know for sure it is butter and I do not even drink wine.

Overall, I would not recommend and I wish I did some more research considering there are plenty of reviews with similar experiences to mine.

I will never use this business again. I had a suit dry cleaned so it would look nice for my friend’s wedding. I was extremely surprised today when I took it out of the plastic today to find it had a foul odor! It smelled like when you leave clothes in the washer for too many days. I have never been more disappointed by dry cleaning services. My suit didn't smell bad when I gave it to you, so it shouldn't when I picked it up.  Now I have to figure out how to get this smell out.

I would give this dry cleaner zero stars. They ruined my dress. I called Mike who was “upper management”. He would not take responsibility. He blamed it on the dyes in the dress. I dropped it off to be dry cleaned, not ruined. He offered me 100 dollars but insisted I drop the dress back off at Harts so that he could send it through an insurance process. I asked that he reimburse me first and then I would drop it off so that he could complete his insurance process. Also,  when I picked up my ruined dress, the cashier wanted to charge me.  I am upset about my dress being ruined. My husband will drop it off. Let’s see what happens. I will post what Hart’s dry cleaner does.

If I could do 0 stars I would! Dropped my wedding dress off and was told it would be ready Tuesday August 1st, I drove all the way to Lexington for it after the man on the phone said it would be there at 4pm. It was not there not ready. Called twice a day each day since and they finally said on Thursday it would be there. Here comes Thursday August 3rd we go to pick it up and they CANT FIND IT!!! Finally after 40 minutes they say it's at the Broadway location and to pick it up from that store (NOT THE STORE WE DROPPED IT OFF TO) so we had to waist MORE gas and time to go hunt down my dress. Fast forward to my wedding day when we finally take it out of the bag August 19th and the griddle was stuck together and had horrible creases in it then all of this all over my dress! This place is an absolute joke! They charged me $185 to take my dress from one side of lexington to the other! That was all they did with it besides somehow getting these marks on it. I will be getting in contact with the BBB.

I bought my husband a Loro Piana sweater for his birthday while we were in New York City. It was $2300.00 we brought it in to be cleaned with several other items. When we returned to pick it up the sweater was not included with the other items. We were instructed to call the owner. When I called him he said he would look into it and get back to me. Never got a call back I had to call him back. When I finally got a hold of him he was irate and chewed me out. He said he reviewed the tapes and he said he saw a dark item included in the clothes I received back. I told him that it would be impossible to see any of the clothing while it had a plastic bag over everything and there was around 10 items. Then he said he never received the item to be cleaned then started to yell at me again and hung up on me. Something is very shady about this place. After talking with a few friends they are known for losing items and giving back cloths that have not even been cleaned. Beware of this shady place.

In November I took in a small tablecloth that was custom made with an expensive fabric that I had purchased in Seattle 2 yrs before. When I picked up the tablecloth it was shredded in places, bleached in other places. It was a throw away. I contacted the manager and asked for compensation. He argued with me on 2 different occasions until he finally realized I was not going to go away. He demanded that I present a receipt for the fabric & labor, which I did not have due to move from Seattle to Lexington. Finally, out of urgency, I went to Joanne's Fabric and purchased a cheaper fabric to have made into tablecloth. It was only about $15.00 I think. In the end he sent me a check for $25.00 to compensate for the $45.00 a yard fabric and $100.00 labor cost for hand-made. I was really angry with this experience. He accused me of bringing in an old, damaged cloth just to get compensation for it! Now really, who would take in a piece of fabric that was shredded and bleached and then pay to have it dry cleaned! Still burned up about my experience at Hart's...and tell everyone I can not to go there...ever.

They did not clean half of our clothes.  My suits where not even touched.  I was very unsatisfied with the service they provided.  I had to find another company to clean the rest after paying them over a hundred dollars for my clothing.

I reached out to them about the complaint they refused to refund me the money and said that it was not there fault.  Will never use them again.

My daughter dropped off dresses to be pressed before recruitment.   She went to pick them up and they had lost them!    They not only lost  them, but they would not give me a call back!    No one tried to locate!    Manager was there when she went to pick up and shrugged her shoulders and said “ I don’t know where they are”.   They may be close to campus.. but they are HORRIBLE!!!      Worth an extra mile to find a reputable business with good management !

I was in a real pickle needing to pick up a dress for my wife on a Saturday when the store was closed and I was so thankful someone was willing to meet me. I emailed late on Friday night, got a response first thing Saturday morning, and had the dress by 11am. Really impressive customer service. Thank you!

Concord tore the stitching that holds the hem on my suit pants. I found out when I went to put them on before a wedding so I ended up being late—thanks, Concord. I have to think someone noticed that one pant leg was no longer hemmed when they put the pants on a hanger after cleaning; they obviously shouldn’t have damaged my pants but they at least could have told me about it so I would have been able to fix it before getting dressed for something important.

I travel a lot for business. This was my first time in Lexington. I went to Concord Cleaners very tentatively after reading the reviews. But I was stuck; I needed same day service as I was out of clean clothes. The two people that worked there had fun personalities and the service was perfect. I dropped off right when they opened at 7:00am - they told me I could pick-up anytime after 3:00pm. I looked back as I was leaving and saw the counter lady already assessing my clothes; she had started pre-treated a small stained area on one of my shirts. I came back around 6:30pm and a fellow came from the back to greet. me promptly. I retrieved my items with no issues. The starch was as I had requested and my 2 shirts and 2 dress pants were professionally cleaned and pressed. The price was awesome - 4 pieces for under twenty dollars with same-day service. They did a great job. Lexington is on my schedule and I will use Concod Cleaners again.

I think the complainers on these reviews must have a personal axe to grind. Just my opinion.

Great service.  I am in weekly on Monday or Tuesday and the person working at this location is fantastic.
